Warranty & Return Policy – Codefoils Switzerland

At Code Foils Switzerland, we stand behind the quality of our products. This policy outlines your rights regarding returns and our 12-month warranty on Code Foils hydrofoils and hardware.

12-Month Warranty

Code Foils offers a 12-month limited warranty on all hydrofoils and hardware purchased from authorised retailers for personal use.

What’s Covered

We warrant that all new Code Foils products will be free from manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase.

To process a claim, you must provide a valid proof of purchase.

If a product is found to be defective, we will (at our sole discretion):

  • Repair the product,

  • Replace it with a new or refurbished one, or

  • Issue a credit.

Warranty coverage continues only for the remainder of the original warranty period (not renewed after replacement).

What’s Not Covered

  • Damage not caused by manufacturing defects.

  • Normal wear and tear, including:

    • Scratches, dings, chips, and cosmetic blemishes.

  • Improper maintenance, storage, or cleaning (e.g., UV damage, harsh chemicals).

  • Use of the product outside its intended purpose.

  • Improper installation or use of incorrect/unauthorised hardware.

  • Damage from over-tightening or use of power tools.

  • Seizing, rust, or corrosion of any hardware.

  • Accidents, collisions, abuse, or impact damage.

  • Natural disasters (e.g., storms, floods, hurricanes).

  • Products modified, repaired, or used with third-party parts.

  • Products used for commercial or rental purposes.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product is eligible for warranty service:

  1. Contact andy@foilever.ch with:

    • A description of the issue

    • Photos of the problem

    • Your order confirmation or invoice

  2. If purchased from a local Code Foils dealer, we recommend bringing the product back to them for assistance.

  3. You are responsible for any shipping or handling costs related to the return.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 7 days of receiving them.

Conditions for Returns

  • The item must be unused and in original packaging.

  • All original tags, manuals, and accessories must be included.

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item is incorrect or defective.

To start a return, email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason.

Refunds will be issued within 14 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned product.
